Participating some regional festivals, parish feasts and some other celebrations. I just got confused that are these all really homes or homes-turned-bars? Clueless .

“What? Come again.”

“Oh, you said, ‘family bar’ mm hmm? Interesting! It makes more sense  😦  😦 😦

About Britton

It's a chattering of an eccentric who often can't control his vagrant thoughts while he is wandering around in search of the unknown. Well, it seems like, this world is an asylum N it invites each N everyone to have a stroll through this asylum. Further, for me it's a madylum :) Humiliating mockeries all around, crushing anguish within, boring day-to-day chores.... oh! He has to wade through all these. :-( N the weary traveler should plod on. No matter what.

confused individuals of the society today ,the transformation from a cultural traditional background to somewhat modern western outlook has landed each one here in a state of confusion, where having such parties is understood to be a sign of “being cool and happening” . people have forgotten what actually binds them and what it needs for being together even for a party

Soumya, you are always sharp to grasp what’s it indeed. Sending a bouquet of roses. 🙂 🙂

I..I never understand why Indian youth (not youth alone in fact) blindly follow the western culture while they have the best here itself. (I didn’t mean the West has got the worst) Nw, celebration means partying besides the togetherness N all those stuff. Was not observing abt this festivities alone, but ….. well..I become a kind of conservative hmm? I dunno. It’s not the India that I studied in my history N philosophical classes any longer….

Maybe, this is one of the reasons that I quit IT job.

thank you Britton for the roses:-)! yes indeed the beautiful rich picture now lies faded ! as there are umpteen transformations in the race of being living in a modern world and not laid back, people often pick wrong things to imitateand it latter become stheir weakness. The things which are positive aren’t ever chosen.and as IT is a part of expanded western corporative world into ours,it tends to bring the corporate culture of theirs here in ours homesas well.

Sadly true. Sometimes, no ‘walking back’.
Who can’t cope up with all these they are the ancient N losers 😦 Absurd it is.
